K.E.Y.S. Academy – Lincroft, NJ The Knowledge Empowers Youth and Sobriety (K.E.Y.S.) Academy at Brookdale Community College represents a groundbreaking partnership in service of students seeking recovery and academic success. This innovative recovery high school provides a supportive environment for students managing substance use disorders while pursuing their education. Our boxing fitness and wellness program complements K.E.Y.S.’s “One day at a time” philosophy, offering students structured physical activity and mental discipline that support their recovery journey. Funded by the New Jersey Department of Education’s Recovery Access Grant, this partnership demonstrates how boxing can be integrated into comprehensive support systems for youth facing unique challenges.
